Chocolate Box 2021 Letter

AO3 Username: StopTalkingAtMe

Welcome to my Chocolate Box letter, dear creator. It’s an odd mix - aside from everything else that 2020 was, it was a year in which I happened to watch a shitload of 70s-80s BBC scifi, a trend which I fully expect to continue well into 2021 thanks to BritBox. I also watched a fair few cosy mysteries and gamed a lot. :p

Some of the sections here may be longer than others but please don’t read anything into that – I’d be thrilled to receive a fic or piece of artwork for any one of the fandoms or ships I’ve requested. All requests are for both art and fic.

  • Atmospheric description, scenery porn, sensory description
  • World-building and character development. Backstory
  • Horror of all kinds, particularly body horror, folk horror, Lovecraftian horror, and atmospheric ghost stories.
  • The Closed Circle trope (the most famous example is And Then There Were None) in both horror and mysteries.
  • Case-fic.
  • Whump
  • Endings of all kinds, happy, bleak or bittersweet.
  • Canon-divergent AUs, especially post-canon ones where the bad guys win.
  • Older characters finding love
  • Pining, of both the hopeless unrequited kind, and where there’s a happy ending,
  • Horror scenarios which involve being trapped in dark, claustrophobic places (especially caves) with monsters (As in The Descent)
  • Descriptions of scars
  • I have absolutely no problem with character death. Even main character death. Feel free to rip my heart out.
  • Crossovers. I’m requesting a few crossovers this year, and there may be a couple of additional prompts interspersed through the letter, but even if I haven’t explicitly prompted for a crossover, I would still be thrilled to receive one. Please assume that if I’ve ever requested or written for a fandom (or otherwise given you good reason to think that I’m a fan) then it’s fair game for a crossover however unlikely or farfetched. I’d prefer crack played straight to outright crack though.

General Art Likes

In terms of artwork I'm open to a lot of different things, but I'll particularly love something which captures the atmosphere of canon, whether that be beautiful scenery, or something grim and gritty. If it suits the fandom and ship, I'm not averse to a bit of gore and violence either, and there's a couple where I'd particularly like some elements of horror. I love contrast and lots of rich intricate detail, but I'm also open to simpler art with softer, more muted colours if that's your style. I also quite like diptychs and triptychs, as well as the use of stylised borders which incorporate themes and objects from canon, such as clockwork, books, or vines. Artist-wise, I'm particularly fond of art nouveau and the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, but seriously, anything.

Assassin’s Creed

Requested ships: Kyra/Thaletas
Deimos!Kassandra/Stentor
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

~~

*Please consider my incest DNW waived for the Deimos!Kassandra/Stentor ship.

Kyra/Thaletas

I started shipping these two right from that first cut-scene with the two of them together. It took all my self-control to avoid the romance options, because as far as I’m concerned Kyra and Thaletas will never be anything but perfect for each other. :D Self-control and a habit of procrastinating on side quests won out, and by some miracle by the end of my first play-through they were still alive and in love.

There’s a lot I’d love to see for these two, whether you go for something joyous which takes full advantage of the gorgeous scenery and which might very well be unabashedly filthy smut, OR something that wallows in all the potential misery and angst for this pairing. I'm also always here for backstory, and any delving you want to do into Thaletas's arrival on the islands, or Kyra's family background.

I’d prefer that any focus on either character being shipped with the player character be kept to a minimum.

Optional Prompts

  • Hurt/comfort -- Of any kind, but especially one of them or both of them getting captured and tortured by the enemy or Podarkes's men, and tender, careful sex afterwards.
  • Sex in captivity, whether 'we're not dead yet' sex or of the dubiously consensual bad guys made them do it variety.
  • Time loop -- Kyra has to watch Thaletas dying repeatedly and only sex will break the loop. (Although admittedly I can't help thinking that would be a very, very short loop)
  • Pure PWP. Ideally something happy, fun and playful. That plateau with the gorgeous view, or trying to stay silent in the rebel caves. I also really like the idea of playful sex that's almost a borderline sparring session, with each of them trying to get the other hand, maybe trying to pin down the other one.
  • They set out to get Thaletas’s helmet back.

Deimos!Kassanda/Stentor

Because apparently nothing gets me shipping something harder than spontaneous antagonistic wrestling in the middle of dinner. <3<3<3 I love the idea of them together so, so much, and how they’re almost imperfect mirrors of each other: they were both raised to be warriors, and both adopted. I am absolutely HERE for any angst-ridden fallout of Deimos adjusting to what she did for the Cult (That tormented ‘I’ve done terrible things’ to her mother towards the end of the game is CATNIP), and maybe finding she has more in common with Stentor than she does with her brother as a result of their upbringings. As always, canon-divergent AUs are welcome. I’m also fine with most background ships for the other characters, but I’m particularly fond of Myrrine/Nikolaos and Alexios/Brasidas. A couple of these prompts are for AUs where Kassandra had a sister rather than a brother, and if you choose that option then feel free to change either the PC’s name or Deimos’s name.

Optional Prompts

  • What if their paths crossed before they meet in canon? Does Stentor notice the resemblance, or does Deimos realise he is Nikolaos’s adoptive son, and perhaps see it as an opportunity for revenge, defying/angering the Cult? Perhaps an AU where Kassandra had a sister rather than a brother, and the resemblance between them is so obvious Stentor cannot help but notice the resemblance.
  • Speaking of AUs where Kassandra had a sister rather than a brother… perhaps Stentor thinks he’s in love with protagonist!Kassandra, and is sleeping with Deimos as a way to drown his sorrows, but gradually he begins to realise she’s much more suited to him.
  • Smut – their sparring or wrestling sessions (whether friendly or otherwise) keep leading to sex.
  • One of my favourite bits of their interaction in canon was the way the other characters react to the wrestling session. The way Alexios WTFs and Myrrine’s little smile at the end. So something shown through one or more of the other characters’ POVs. Do the other characters realise there’s something between them before they do? Or is Alexios (whom I always played as being extremely slow on the uptake because it was more fun that way) genuinely concerned they might actually murder each other until Myrrine puts him right?
  • Anything exploring how they’re adjusting to their lives at the end of the game, with Deimos adjusting to life in Sparta and both of them to their new family.
  • Hurt/comfort of any kind, particularly the ‘captured and tortured by the enemy’ type, whether bandits, Athenians, or the Followers of Ares (I particularly love claustrophobic settings and caves
  • More smut – sex in captivity, whether it’s of the ‘bad guys made them do it’ or if they’re just seeking comfort in each other.
  • Time-loop or some other reality-breaking down weirdness. Play with the meta of the various potential endings and characters who could be alive or dead. Perhaps a time-loop where one or the other keeps dying, or one of them finds themselves in a version of reality where the other didn’t survive.
  • Kid-fic. Not for them necessarily, but instead Alexios (or Kassandra if you want to go the two sisters!AU) settles down (as far as he or she ever will), marries, and just generally does what Good Spartans are meant to do. Mainly I’m here for mild angst and for the image of Deimos being the most terrifying auntie ever. (I have no preference as to whom the PC is shipped with, btw, although I’m not keen on mpreg – accidental baby acquisition is definitely a possibility though)
  • Meta action/adventure. I love stealth games despite being dreadful at them, and I really like the idea of these two being forced to be stealthy despite being two of the least stealthy characters in the game. Take them out of their comfort zone, take away all their weapons, leave them vulnerable, injured and outnumbered, and put them in a position where they have to rely on stealth and throat-slitting rather than confronting their enemies head-on.

Art Likes

I would very definitely be up for explicit art for both of these pairings.

Maybe some of that gorgeous scenery? Perhaps a peaceful moment, or alternatively blood and slaughter, or something that contrasts both. For Kyra/Thaletas, perhaps something that incorporates Thaletas's flower petals (the two of them kissing on a bed of petals?), or possibly contrasts them with blood splatters? Or the caves, with heavy use of shadow and light? Or the party at the end of the questline, with them enjoying a moment just before Thaletas is about to drink from his cup? Or them relaxing on a fishing boat on a trip out to retrieve Thaletas's helmet from the sea but get distracted.

For Deimos!Kassandra/Stentor, an image of them wrestling wouldn't go amiss (is naked wrestling between men and women historically accurate? Let's pretend it is, at least in Sparta). Or something post-coital, where they're both bruised and battered and look like they've gone to hell and back. Or the two of them as a battle couple, slaughtering their way through a fort full of bandits. Or a moment of hurt-comfort between them after they've been caught and tortured by enemy soldiers.

Blake’s 7

Requested characters/ships: Servalan/Travis
Roj Blake/Travis
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

~~

Note on my DNWs: Brief mentions and references to the canonical use of false memories of child abuse are fine here. Dubcon is fine for both ships, and extremely dubious consent/non-violent noncon is fine for the Travis/Blake ship. (By 'no violent non-con', I mean no significant physical harm as a direct result of the sex itself (slight bruises are okay, as is any harm that comes as a result of more general torture) and please keep it mostly painless (i.e. mild pain that comes indirectly from struggling against bonds rather than being directly inflicted is fine). And aroused victim only, please.)

It’s rare that I fall so completely and utterly head-over-heels in love with a show, but it’s happened with Blake’s 7, to the point where frankly I’m a little taken aback. I loved it right from the very first episode, which was so grimly dystopian (the bureaucracy, the people in charge running ‘feasibility studies’ when the possibility being examined is the act of planting false memories of abuse in the minds of children, I mean… fuck. Fuck.) It’s so utterly bleak and awful, but then it’s balanced out by the sheer fun of the sets and the storylines.

I’ll be up for anything that examines the dystopian elements of the world and the Federation, angst, backstory, canon divergent AUs set during, pre- and post-canon, hurt/comfort, whump and torture, trust issues, case fic of the planet-of-the-week sort or the murder mystery sort, clothes porn, and… look, I’ll take basically anything for this show.

Servalan/Travis

These two. Oh god, where do I even start. I was going to say they were the two most evil people in the Federation, but this is the Federation that plants false memories of abuse in the minds of children, so… idek. I loved the brief flash of a conscience Travis shows in Deliverance and the way she tramples on it and you can see him reassessing his opinion of her right there and then, and the way the whole of his arc in the second series is a constant push and pull between them, going from working together to antagonistic to whatever the hell that was in Gambit… I mean, she had him at her mercy on a sex swing. A literal sex swing. And all the time they were low-key threatening each other they were holding hands. I was already shipping them pretty damn hard, and watching that felt like a fever dream. I’m still not entirely convinced I didn’t hallucinate it. :D

Go with either Travis, or bridge the gap between the two. I loved Travis I, but Travis II won me round very quickly indeed. I liked his quieter, more sinister manner (and his scruffier appearance towards the latter half of the season was scorching hot, so, uh, any description of that wouldn’t go amiss. Look, the slipping of his military standards of appearance is thematically relevant character development, okay?). I’d be especially here for anything that explores reasons for the changes in his behaviour (such as the moment in Weapon where he goes all broken and mentions his visits to the retraining therapists) and his gradual deterioration over the course of season 2. An AU with Travis II in the first season or Travis I in the second would be interesting too – their speech patterns, manner and appearance are very different, and it’d be interesting seeing how his story arc in the second season would work with Travis I. And Servalan, how utterly ruthless and amoral she is, the way she tries to manipulate everybody, her poise, her clothes, the way she toys with him, and finds a way, despite his break from the Federation as a result of her scheming, to get him working for her again. She’s so utterly ruthless and evil and fantastic to watch. I especially love seeing her when she’s out of her comfort zone, but managing to regain her composure. I’m also open to post season 2 set fics where it’s not Travis himself but a clone she’s had made for reasons of her own.

I’m always here for character studies and I’d love to see something that dives deep into their characters and motivations (and maybe continues what the show started and humanises them a little, while not letting them off the hook for the atrocities they’ve committed), but I’m also up for pure smut too. Man, I am so, so here for fucked-up loyalty kink between them. And I don’t know if loyalty kink is the right word for their relationship, considering everything that happens in canon, but I still can’t help but see him as desperately wanting to be ride-or-die for her, even after everything she’s done to him and knowing she’ll fuck him over at the first opportunity, but if he can just prove himself one more time maybe she’ll give him the chance...

Optional Prompts

  • Smut – One of my first thoughts on watching the scene between them in Deliverance was that Servalan should really dom the fuck out of him on her conveniently located couch. (In fact those two episodes, Deliverance and Orac, solidified my love for them as a ship, and I wish to god he’d used his body to shield hers when he set that charge in the tunnels under Aristo).
  • Yet more smut – Look, she canonically had him unconscious and at her mercy on a sex swing (well, technically a swinging bed suspended from the ceiling, but still…). Not to do something with that would be criminal. Send Jarriere away, or alternatively have them both dubconning/domming the poor out-of-his-depth idiot in an attempt to get at the other one. Sort of fucking each other by proxy, and not being all that gentle about it either because Travis and Servalan.
  • Fill in some of the missing moments from his arc, either from the first or second season. In the first season, he’s in disgrace after the events of Duel. His arc in the second season is a rollercoaster ride. After Hostage it’s pretty clear he’s in regularish contact with Servalan, so there are some opportunities for missing scenes there. Maybe he comes close to getting captured by the Federation and she manipulates things to get him free and hunting for Blake again.
  • What the hell would pillow talk between the two of them look like?
  • More background to The Keeper, please. I have some headcanons about what was going on with him (he just wanted to rule the universe by her side, another moment between them that makes my shippy heart explode in delight, as does the idea that this ship might have been the pivotal moment that would massively change the course of events of the series going forwards), but I’m curious to see your take on it. If she’d let him, would he have been genuinely loyal to her, or might he still have betrayed her down the line? I think it probably goes without saying that she would have betrayed him.
  • And along those lines the concept of Travis and Servalan ruling the universe side by side is a TERRIFYING one. Give me that AU, please, or else the set-up for it where he delivers Star One to her.
  • An AU where Travis survives Star One. “There's no one as free as a dead man,” Servalan tells him in Hostage. Well, now everyone thinks he’s dead, so he’s got his freedom. What’s he going to do with it? How does he get off Star One? Does he end up working with Servalan again, or watch her from afar, trying to keep his head down?

Roj Blake/Travis

I always love a good enemy ship, and Blake/Travis is a particularly delightful example. Their background, Travis’s overwhelming hatred of Blake, Blake’s repeated failure to kill him… Why does he keep sparing Travis? In Duel he justifies it because the Federation would just send someone else in Travis’s place and at least Blake knows he’s capable of defeating Travis, but it doesn’t ring entirely true. It could just be him being merciful, but personally I have a soft spot for the idea that Blake’s fucked over about his brainwashing (speaking of which, how does Blake’s period of compliance on Earth fit into Travis’s vendetta against him?) and is aware that Travis is probably the person who knows him best and so subconsciously unwilling to kill Travis because of that. Again, go with either Travis here, whenever you choose to set it.

I want so many different things for this pairing, from smut: Travis dubconning Blake (all the way up to extremely dubious consent), or sex pollen, to something more plotty: like the two of them being stuck in a situation where they’re forced to work together. Smut would be fantastic, but they’ve both been fucked over by the Federation and are both ruthless men willing to do terrible things for their beliefs (and I freaking adored the way the last episode drew deliberate parallels between them), so I’d love to see something where they’re forced to warily interact on a level beyond simply trying to kill each other. I’d also be open to Blake’s clone acting as a stand-in for Blake himself. They had to travel together, so what would that have looked like, considering what happened to the first clone? It’s also fine for the ship to take a back seat to character development.

Optional Prompts

  • We’ve heard the story of what happened between Blake and Travis, but we only hear the latter half of it through Blake’s somewhat compromised memories. What if it didn’t happen quite the way Blake described?
  • Travis survives Star One and runs into Blake. Does Travis regret what he did or is he completely unrepentant? And considering the consequences of destroying Star One, it’s not like Blake is entirely comfortable on the moral high ground. Perhaps there’s an external conflict that forces them to work together and not just kill each other there and then, but I’d also be willing to just seen them both too tired and broken to fight and so calling a truce of a kind just for one night.
  • Smut (although character development would be welcome here too) – It occurs to Travis, possibly at Servalan’s urging, that he might be able to use the clone to work out his issues with Blake. Maybe Servalan acts as a third party directing the two of them, and rather enjoying Travis’s shame at enjoying it so much (he was so broken in that episode), or else a hundred petty little moments of cruelty escalate into extremely dubconny sex.
  • Blake ends up brainwashed again and an extremely resentful Travis is set as his guard dog with explicit instructions not to harm him and the ability to erase Blake’s memories if he thinks Blake is starting to suspect something is wrong. It’s not like he was planning on taking advantage of the situation, but it just sort of happened that way. Bonus points if Blake starts growing on him despite Travis’s best efforts.
  • They get stuck in a time loop, (some kind of simulation, perhaps?) and the only way out of the time loop is for them to work together to get them both out of the situation in one piece or, uh, possibly for them to fuck.

Art Likes

I love the look of this series so, so much: the gloriously wonky BBC special effects, and the clothes – oh god, the clothes - so anything like that which can be incorporated will be appreciated, and I am here for pure unadulterated costume porn, especially if Servalan is involved.

Optional Art Prompts

  • Servalan and Travis interacting. Looks-wise I have a slight preference for Travis I (that metal plate!) or outlaw!Travis II (his hair! That beard!), and the visual contrast between her white flowing dresses and his black leather uniform. Sexually explicit, or just Servalan being Servalan, flirting with her hand on his chest while he’s trying to stay stony-faced (Servalan stroking his chest is life. The tunnels under Aristo. The sex swing. Costume porn. Antagonism. Him choking her. Her slapping him. Servalan domming the fuck out of him. The two of them ruling the universe side by side as the most terrifying power couple of all time. Bonus points if you can get him looking just the tiniest bit vulnerable, especially if he’s trying to look anything but.
  • Blake and Travis – Ohhhh boy, the LOOK of these two together, and again I have the same slight preference for either Travis I or outlaw!Travis II. That scene from their backstory where Blake fires on Travis! Blake getting tortured. Somewhat dubiously consensual sexually explicit fanart (sex pollen, or use of aphrodisiacs?). Travis burying his fingers in Blake’s hair and jerking his head back. A post-coital scene where they’re either sated and exhausted and it’s only just beginning to dawn on them what a terrible idea that was, or where that has become very clear indeed. A moment where they have to work together. Blake having Travis at his mercy and deciding – again! – to spare him. Them drinking together in a bar as part of that Travis survives Star One AU. Evil or brainwashed!Blake working alongside Travis.

Campion (TV)

Requested Ships: Albert Campion & Magersfontein Lugg
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

~~

I’m still working my way through the all-too-few episodes of this series (an early Christmas present, which, um, may possibly related to my revisiting classic Doctor Who and falling in love with the Fifth Doctor all over again), but so far I love it. It’s a rare thing for me to fail to love a cosy, slow-paced, interwar murder mystery (*points at the Mrs Bradley Mysteries*) and I’ve fallen hard for this one. Mainly because of Albert Campion. Oh god, I adore him. The constant quips and levity, the mystery about who he is and how he’s come to live his life like this (And the way he's described in Look to the Lady, which is so far the first and only Margery Allingham I've read but won't be the last: 'pale, smiling and ineffably inane' <3<3<3). And then there's his relationship with Lugg – and god, do I love all the back-and-forth banter between them, with Lugg occupying an unconventional position somewhere between gent’s gent and partner in crime, and the implicit trust Campion places in him despite Lugg's less than salubrious background. It's possibly more of an equal relationship in the show than in the books, which I'm inclined to prefer, and Brian Glover is one of those actors who just by virtue of being in something cheers me up a bit.

Give me casefic (or just scenes from a casefic), Campion preparing to confront the perpetrator and then getting the absolute shit kicked out of him because he is very definitely not a fighter, Campion's very particular brand of feigned idiocy, Campion being disappointed in his love affairs... Or not so disappointed - I'm open to Campion/OFC and Campion/Amanda Fitton if you want to write those. And I especially loved the supernatural and folk horror elements in Look to the Lady, which were genuinely creepy as fuck, especially the folk horror. Also here for that very particular brand of trust and loyalty kink between them -- theirs seems to be a very odd and fascinating little relationship and I'd really love to see that captured, perhaps with them being protective of each other while not trying to seem protective at all.

Potential crossovers: Doctor Who is a given, but less obviously every time Bottle Street is mentioned, it makes me think of Dishonored. I have no idea how that would work: I just know I want it and I’d be fascinated to see how they fit into that universe. I could certainly see Campion as an associate of Slackjaw while moving amongst the nobles of Dunwall. I'd also quite like to see Campion attempting to out-idiot Bertie Wooster (and Lugg meeting Jeeves), or being put in a position where he has to outwit Poirot or Miss Marple.

Optional Prompts

  • More ghostly shenanigans or folk horror. They're snowed in in a haunted house or investigating creepy murder woods. Go full on horror if you want
  • Lugg has to go undercover
  • Just... all the moments of banter between them and their relationship in general. How did Lugg come to play the part of a manservant? The line between friendship and being a paid employee.
  • Campion receives an invitation to a dinner party for amateur (or not so amateur) detectives. While he's there, someone is murdered. (Up to you whether you make this a crossover or not)
  • Hurt/comfort -- Campion's recovering from injuries sustained in his last case. Lugg is not usually inclined to be the comforting type. (Or vice versa.)

Art Likes

That gorgeous car. And the period clothing. And the production values of the show -- all the lovely country houses and peaceful little villages and pubs. Or alternatively, something darker and creepier, with folk horror elements. Or if you're familiar with the style of Dishonored, an image from a fusion crossover -- Bottle Street, and Campion in Dishonored-style clothing.

Dishonored

Requested ships: Corvo Attano/Teague Martin
Emily Kaldwin/Teague Martin
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

~~

Corvo Attano/Teague Martin

I’m honestly a little baffled that this ship isn’t larger than it is, given all the whump potential of Corvo rescuing Martin from Holger Square. And yeah, okay, maybe it’s because Martin is a treacherous little weasel, but he’s a fascinating treacherous little weasel, and I ship them like burning. It hit me out of nowhere this ship, and I ship them all the harder for how hopeless and bleak and messed up it all is, with the betrayal and Corvo having been marked by the Outsider, not to mention his having just seen his lover murdered right in front of him. I just wish there was more fic for this pairing.

I'm enthralled by the Loyalists and everything that's going on behind the scenes with them while the events of the first game are taking place. But Martin especially: all that delicious angst and guilt as he struggles with his conscience and how he owes Corvo everything but still betrays him. His shady background is hinted at, but never really expanded on, and his true feelings about the Overseers is never quite made clear. Is he really a man of faith, or is it just a convenient route to power?

I’d be thrilled with anything that captures the awkward place between love/attraction, obligation and betrayal, or which tackles their awkward backstories and complicated emotions. Any level of relationship is welcome, from hateship, to using each other as a distraction, to one-sided pining, to genuine love and affection: mainly I’d be fascinated to see what you come up with for these two. Perhaps Martin's still recovering from his injuries, or Corvo's still mourning Jessamine, and trying to bury his grief in sex (whether meaningless or otherwise). Maybe they're trying to keep it quiet for whatever reason, or Martin is still struggling with the decision of whether or not he should turn against Corvo. Plotty canon-divergent fic is particularly welcome here.

Optional Prompts

  • Post-canon ‘fix-it’ fic, although the actual fix-it part is entirely optional.
  • A Bad Guys Win!AU. Corvo fails to stop the Loyalists but isn’t killed. Maybe he’s just injured or imprisoned, and resurfaces years later. Perhaps Martin regrets what happened and has done his best to make amends by serving Emily as best he can, and then he starts to hear rumours about an assassin who sounds very much like Corvo. Does he hole up somewhere or go looking for him?
  • (Uh, also writing the above prompt has made me realise that I’d be open to a fic with the above set-up where Emily and Martin stumbled into a love affair once she was old enough, but they're both still hugely fucked up over Corvo (who could be alive or dead). Falling in love with her older protector/advisor was what her mother did, after all, and she thinks of Martin as one of her father's loyal supporters, and meanwhile Martin's basically obsessed with Corvo and Emily is almost a replacement for him.)
  • Something set during the events of the first game. Corvo is still mourning Jessamine, Martin is still recovering from his injuries, and the whole situation is ripe for some gloriously angst iddy whump. Could be smut or emotional or physical hurt/comfort.
  • The Outsider reaches out to Martin and offers him powers, perhaps the chance to go back and change events.
  • Something set during the final mission of the first game: Emily is saved, the Loyalists are defeated, but Martin is still alive and Corvo has some loose ends to tie up.
  • A canon-divergent AU where they’re discovered or betrayed and the Hound Pits Pub is overrun with the Lord Regent’s men and they have to scramble to survive whilst protecting Emily.

Emily Kaldwin/Teague Martin

I’d prefer that Emily be 18+ when the possibility of a sexual relationship occurs to Martin, although a crush on Emily’s part is fine before them.

This one is a little awkward due to my Underage DNW, which still stands, but I ship adult Emily/Teague Martin so freaking hard. It grew out of a prompt for the Corvo/Martin ship, but thinking about it and how it might work got me shipping it as its own separate thing. I would also be fine with it treated as entirely gen if you'd prefer to set it during the course of the first game - Martin fascinates me as a character and we don't really see him interacting with Emily.

But if you do decide to ship it, there's a very specific ship dynamic that I adore and which this hits for me: a man who acted as a semi-guardian to a younger woman, and the two of them just sort of accidentally falling into an awkward, guilty, somewhat angsty relationship once she's well past the age where she's old enough to be acting in an adult capacity. Seriously, it's like CATNIP, and that's part of what appeals to me about this ship.

I almost always adore older man/younger woman age gap ships anyway, particularly when the power balance isn’t always as clear-cut as it might seem. What I first imagined for this request is a canon divergent AU where Corvo died failing to stop the Loyalists and Martin finds himself as High Overseer and acting in an advisory role to Emily who remains unaware of the betrayal, while they conduct an affair. She’s still sort of messed up over the events of the first game, and, since Jessamine was probably about 12 when Corvo was appointed as her Royal Protector, she sees an affair with Martin as somehow following in the steps of her mother. Meanwhile Martin is conflicted about his betrayal of Corvo and guilty as fuck about having an affair with a woman he knew as a child. There’s so much potential for trauma, horribly conflicted loyalty kink, and guilty angst here, especially if you feel like combining the two ships with Martin having formerly been Corvo’s lover.

That really is a much more elaborate head-canon than I usually like to give, but it’s honestly just a suggestion, mainly because it seems the simplest way of getting them together. If you have another idea of how this could work (Outsider shenanigans or time travel or a Came Back Wrong fic – all of which I’d freaking love), then please do run with it. Martin can survive a high chaos run, so there’s every chance he could be imprisoned in Coldridge, and I would love to see how a High Chaos version of the first game would go on to affect Emily as an adult and how that might play into her relationship with Martin and her memories of her father.

I’m also fine with the ship taking a back-seat to the plot, and with one-sided pining or extremely awkward and badly timed UST.

Optional Prompts

  • A canon-divergent AU where the Outsider pays Martin a visit shortly before his death and offers him the Mark. Maybe he goes back in time and it's him rather than Daud who winds up preventing Delilah from taking over Emily’s body, or Delilah succeeds in that, and years later, he has to restore Emily's spirit to her adult body, only she’s been a disembodied spirit growing up in the Void for all this time, touch-starved and desperate for human contact.
  • Martin survives the events of the first game, but is imprisoned for his crimes, only to then become one of Emily’s few allies during the events of the second game (perhaps the Outsider chooses to mark him rather than Emily, and he sees a chance to make amends).
  • The headcanon in the general notes about the ship. Maybe rumours start to surface about someone who looks very much like Corvo appearing in Dunwall, or the other surviving Loyalists are being killed off one by one. Or maybe Emily runs into Samuel and learns the truth about what happened to her father.
  • Time-travel – as an adult, Emily travels back to the events of the first game. Maybe she takes over Corvo’s place in the missions, or sees a chance to put things right.

Art/Comic Prompts

Explicit fanart for both these pairings is welcome (with the caveat that my underage DNW still applies).

I absolutely love the gritty visuals of Dunwall: the rats, the grimy brickwork, the ruined buildings, the whales, and the eerie distorted imagery of the Void, so I'd be thrilled with anything that captures the look and feel of the world, and in particular, if you can somehow capture moments of beauty (a gorgeous sunset? oilslick rainbows on the river water?) along with the grittiness, then all the better.

For Corvo and Martin, oh god, the look of these two together. *hearteyes* Maybe a quiet moment captured in the pub, Martin still bruised and beaten to shit, but recovering? Or the moment where Corvo frees him? Or something darker, when Corvo confronts him towards the end of the game? Also up for AUs here too: maybe they meet again in the Void, or Martin's somehow come back?

If you'd like to draw something for Emily/Martin, then I'd love to see something involving an adult Emily, with or without emphasis on the age-gap. Maybe in an AU where Martin survived and is now High Overseer and one of her advisors. Perhaps a post-coital moment between them, or a quiet flirtatious moment when they think no one's watching. Or Martin awkwardly comforting her at Corvo's memorial.

Doctor Who (1963)

Requested Ships: Jo Grant/The Third Doctor
The Master (Delgado)/The Third Doctor
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

~~

(Note: I’m also requesting a couple of Doctor Who ships in my crossover section, Fifth Doctor & Jenny the Doctor's Daughter and Jenny the Doctor's Daughter/Vislor Turlough)

I have been an on-off Doctor Who fan for a very long time, but it’s only since trying out BritBox that I’ve had a chance to sit down and properly watch it as opposed to watching the odd episode, with novelisations, the occasional Big Finish audio and other tie-in novels added to the mix. It’s put me in the awkward position of being familiar with the universe as a whole, while at the same time having missed a lot of the episodes. I’m putting that to rights now, but it does make coming up with prompts a little bit awkward.

Jo Grant/The Third Doctor

*On the subject of my infidelity DNW, if it comes to it (e.g. for anything more than unrequited or unrealised pining), then either disregard Clifford Jones or have them be separated UNLESS you choose to indulge my ridiculous 'Clifford Jones is actually the Doctor' headcanon, in which case anything goes.

”Jo, you've got all the time in the world, and all the space. I'm offering them to you.” *hearteyes*

I was already kind of shipping them because I am a sucker for hand-holding and they are always holding hands or hugging, but then I skipped ahead to The Green Death and oh my fucking god. I can’t see that speech at the beginning with the Doctor offering her the universe as anything but a love confession. It’s not just the words, but his delivery, which is ridiculously solemn given that he’s just giving her the choice of which shithole planet she wants to fail to get to. And she says no! And then the end of the story where he says goodbye to her and gives her the sapphire from Metebelis 3 as a wedding present (the way their hands touch!) and then she looks back at him as he slips out of the celebrations. Uh, which is to say that The Green Death got me from kind of shipping it to shipping it like burning.

I happen to have a completely unsubstantiated headcanon that Clifford Jones is a previously unmet regeneration of the Doctor under the influence of the Chameleon Arch (perhaps one prior to Three who’s been forgotten about for some reason). It all kind of fits – his eccentricity, his name, his research being, according to the Doctor, remarkable for the age he lives in. Alternatively, I’m fine with him being ignored completely or for him and Jo to have gone on to separate further down the line.

Even setting the ship aside, the Third Doctor and Jo are one of my favourite Doctor-Companion combinations. I absolutely fucking love the Pertwee years, and I love Jo so much: even back when Dr Who wasn’t on TV I had a battered novelisation of The Daemons that I read to death… (and rewatching it recently I’ve realised that may well be the source of my love for the trapped-in-a-creepy-village trope. And I love them as a pair: she’s tougher than she looks and she’s adaptable, but she’s still so vulnerable at times, and he’s so protective of her – all the putting his arm round her, and her flinging herself into his arms and being willing to sacrifice herself for him, him going in to kiss the top of her head… yeah.

Set it during canon or alternatively years late when Jo is older and wiser. I’m not really familiar with what the extended media has Jo doing after she leaves the show, so you’ve got an open book there as far as I’m concerned and I’m not bothered about spoilers for other media. Follow that canon or disregard it entirely: it’s up to you. The same goes for the fate of UNIT.

Optional Prompts

  • Remember my headcanon about Clifford Jones? Well, after Jo’s marriage, the Doctor is distracted by inconvenient memories of her, memories which shouldn’t belong to him at all.
  • Years after her marriage to Clifford breaks up, Jo finds herself meeting the Third Doctor again. A time paradox at Llanfairfach? The Master?
  • Something ridiculously tropey – there’s only one bed, or they arrive on a planet where they’re forced to pose as husband and wife. Or, my favourite, trapped in a cupboard and hiding from monsters.
  • Explore the shift in their relationship. Why did the Doctor go from not giving a damn about her flirtation with the Peladon to being so protective of her over Clifford?
  • That speech the Doctor gave at the start of The Green Death: what would have happened if she’d agreed to go with him to Metebelis 3 (on the assumption that it would be a stop-off on the way to Llanfairfach).

The Master (Delgado)/The Third Doctor

Normally with enemy ships I’m all about dub con, but for these two I would much prefer it be kept fully consensual.

Delgado is easily my favourite Master, mainly because of the way he and the Doctor bounce off each other and his playfulness (him watching the Clangers will forever be one of my favourite moments of the series, and I maintain he was fully aware they weren’t real).

I strongly headcanon him as secretly still adoring the Doctor – aside from offering the Doctor a chance to rule the galaxy at his side, he always seems so delighted when his ill-advised evil schemes backfire and he’s ‘forced’ to work alongside the Doctor to save his own skin. And as for the Doctor, while he’s exasperated and often pretty damn angry with the Master, I’m pretty sure there’s still a streak of fondness there and a hope (maybe?) that it’s not too late for the Master to mend his ways. I don’t think it’s coincidence and luck that the Master nearly always manages to escape at the end of most of his episodes, just saying. I’m… not sure how much of that is borne out by the show and isn’t just wishful thinking on my part, but I do think you can still see the lingering ghosts of their friendship in the way they interact on screen. You can believe, utterly, that they used to be close and understand why.

For this, I’d love to see a continuation of their relationship on the show. Set against each other, but with that lingering edge of wistfulness for their old relationship. Any degree of shippiness is welcome. Maybe they’re forced to work together, or even just a quieter moment when they set their animosity aside. There’s a moment in Colony in Space when the Master offers the Doctor the chance to rule at his side and just for a second the Doctor looks like he’s considering it. Did that ever work the other way? Show me them working against each other or alternatively finding common points of interest – they’re both annoyed with the Time Lords, for a start.

Also that tag: ‘I’m the only one that gets to kill you’ is pretty damn relative to my interests here.

Optional Prompts

  • The incident with the Sea Devils wasn’t the first time the Doctor visited the Master in jail...
  • The Master might have the Doctor imprisoned, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he has the other hand or that the Doctor is in any way impressed.
  • Stranded together, they find they still have more in common than they realised.
  • Watching the show, it’s hard to shake the feeling that all the Master wants is the Doctor’s attention. Which is probably unfair, but when the Master attempts a scheme somewhere in the universe that isn’t Earth, naturally the Doctor somehow happens to be there. It's a coincidence. Probably.
  • Always, always here for casefic.
  • Another trip to the parallel universe in Inferno (time travelling to before it was destroyed). Are there versions of the Doctor and the Master there, or did the alternative Doctor have no interest in Earth?

Art Likes

Costume porn, particularly the Doctor’s clothes. (The capes! The frilly shirts!) For the Doctor/Jo, hugging and hand-holding, the Doctor generally being protective, and just scenes of them being adorable together in general. The wonderful, terrible special effects, monsters, and giant maggots, and utterly impractical robots. :D For The Doctor/The Master, I'd love it if you could somehow capture that weird mix of almost-affection, regret and enmity. A scene of them working together, or building ridiculous contraptions to thwart each other (like the one the Doctor built in The Time Monster). Or something that captures their memories of their boyhoods on Gallifrey.

The Last Days of Pompeii – 1984 Miniseries

Requested Ships: Sporus/Lydon
Melior/The unnamed bar maid
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

~~

(Available on Youtube here: part one, part two, and part three. Also, please note this section contains some fairly significant spoilers.)

Basically my distilled pure id from start to finish. Hallucinatory dubcon threesome sex, rival gladiators, doomed lovers, and so many satisfying death scenes I’m shivering in delight at the thought of them. I enjoyed the book too, but found myself preferring a lot of the changes the miniseries made – many of the characters are significantly more likeable, and I was low-key invested in a *lot* of the canon ships and friendships. I also thoroughly appreciated that they decided to give the gladiators more of a role in the story, that they eased back on the ‘Ancient Greece is massively superior to Ancient Rome’ theme in the book, and added a couple of the characters who came to be favourites of mine (especially Chloe <3).

Go with a fix-it or take full advantage of my being fine with Major Character Death and wallow in the tragedy. I’d particularly love to see the gladiatorial life explored a little, especially the various relationships between them all, and canon-divergent AUs are welcome, as are fix-its, whether they’re genuinely fixing things or otherwise. The only thing I would ask you to avoid, if you’re doing a canon-divergent fic, is an AU where Vesuvius doesn’t erupt because that's the whole freaking point. :D Aside from the requested ships, one of the things that appeals about canon is the web of interconnecting friendships (Lydon and Glaucus comparing wrestling styles XD) so I’d love to see that reflected too if you have a chance.

Sporus/Lydon

Oh god, Sporus. He’s a fantastic character, a tightly knit bundle of resentment, envy, jealousy, and bitterness (I love how pissy he is at not being appreciated when Marcus snipes at him for killing his opponent in the arena). And the early scene after the first gladiator fight when he helps Lydon with his armour and tells him, utterly sincerely, to be careful. <3<3<3 And then later the scene where Lydon is training with Gar, and Sporus doesn’t know whether to be jealous of Gar or Nydia or of Lydon being champion. And his lines in his final scene, which led to a massive record scratch on my part: Lydon, I did love you. Not ‘Lydon, I loved you’ but ‘I DID love you.’ Implying… what? That the question of his feelings for Lydon had come up at some point in the past? Did they have a fling? Was Lydon in love with Sporus before Nydia? Did Sporus deny him? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? And Lydon holding his hand while he dies… goddamnit, my heart.

I would love backstory for this, or something set during canon. Canon-divergent AUs are always welcome, and I’d also be happy for any level of ship: from fully realised, to pining, whether mutual or one-sided. If it’s fully realised I’d prefer the issue of infidelity is avoided, either by setting it before Lydon falls in love with Nydia or by sticking closer to the book and not having him be in love with her at all. I do like Lydon/Nydia though, so no need to avoid it if the pining is one-sided on Sporus’s part or if their relationship was in the past (I’m also pretty invested in Nydia/Ione and Nydia/Glaucus/Ione if you’re not quite sure what to do with her). And if you can make it work, I’m not unopposed to Nydia/Sporus/Lydon either, if they all manage to make it out of Pompeii. It’d be a pretty fascinating dynamic, especially if Sporus feels himself dependent on Lydon due to his injuries.

Optional Prompts

  • We know how and why Lydon came to be a gladiator and why he continues in that life despite having earned his freedom, but what about Sporus? Was he already there when Lydon turned up as a slave whom no one expected to last more than a couple of matches?
  • Always here for descriptions of gladiator matches or sparring, the blood, the sweat, the sexual tension… Also helping each other with their armour, and tending to wounds afterwards. And, uh, bathhouses.
  • And hey, if you just want to write PWP, sex in the wake of a match or sparring session wouldn’t go amiss.
  • What happened when they all left Pompeii for Campania?
  • A post-canon fix-it. Lydon escapes Pompeii with an injured Sporus. What does the aftermath look like? Bitter angst and hurt/comfort welcome here. Given what a massive jealous shit Sporus is in canon, I’d love to see that explored.
  • Nydia understands something about being in love with someone you feel dependent on and the heartbreak of watching them love another. An understanding develops between her and Sporus.

Melior/The unnamed barmaid

In a show filled with likeable characters (even the ones who are massively flawed), Melior is the loveliest and I just want him to have nice things. Almost the first moment we see him in a gladiatorial fight, he’s persuading his opponent to put his hand up to beg for mercy so he can be spared, and later he protects Nydia from Gar. Which makes his fate and the fate of his canon love interest, the bar maid, all the more gutting. They get so few scenes and she gets no lines, but the brief attention they get is the rip-out-my-heart-and-stamp-on-it kind, and I will never not be a sucker for that. I was absolutely not prepared for that last shot of her towards the end, and as tiny as this ship is, it was cemented into my heart as something I desperately want. Also in that bar scene it’s pretty clear they’re holding hands, and that’s something I can never resist.

I would absolutely love a fix-it for this, whether a true fix-it or just a temporary one so that something even worse can happen. As for the bar maid, I’d love to see her given more agency - a name and some actual lines would be a start :D. (As an aside, if you happen to know the name of the actress who portrays her, I will love you for ever. I have a feeling she might be Italian, based on… absolutely nothing at all.) I’d also love to see something of how the gladiators fit into the world of Pompeii in general. The scene where the gladiators are returning from Campania, with Lydon pursued by adoring women (with Sporus looking pissy in the background XD) gets me curious about how she fell for Melior in the first place. Why him, when all the other women are flocking around Lydon? (aside from Melior clearly being so lovely).

Optional Prompts

  • A ridiculously indulgent fix-it where they both survive Pompeii and settle down together (a bar? A farm? Kids running around), then meet up by chance with Lydon, and the other survivors (whether Nydia or Sporus) – the friendships are one of my favourite things about canon, so I’d just love to see them catching up with each other and reminiscing about old times. Happy to receive utterly plotless fluff for this one, or go hard on the PTSD and grief for the friends and family who didn’t make it.
  • Smut – after he intervenes between Gar and Nydia, or just before they leave for Campania (or afterwards). Or maybe they’re fooling around, him playfully teaching her some fight moves and things develop from there.
  • Hurt/comfort where Melior survives his wounds and returns to Pompeii. She comforts him. A happy ending, or:
  • Melior survives the trip to Campania and returns to Pompeii and the bar maid… only so that they can both die together tragically when Vesuvius erupts. Yay? (Seriously, the multiple tragic deaths are one of my favourite aspects of the show so if you want to write something that’ll rip my heart out, please do).
  • Backstory. How did she come to fall in love with Melior over all the other gladiators?

Art Likes

Here for all the depictions of sweat, blood, and gladiator armour of the arena, and I’d also love to receive explicit artwork for either pairing. Some fairly astonishing frescoes of gladiators have survived as well as some gladiator-related graffiti, so it would be pretty damn cool to get a pastiche of those or something which otherwise reflects Roman artworks in some way.

Depict a scene from any of the prompts suggested above. Melior and the bar maid huddled together (hand-holding, foreheads pressed together?) during the eruption. Or either pairing having survived the eruption, looking back either straight afterwards (as in the final scene of the show with the sun rising) or several years afterwards.

The Robots – Big Finish

Requested Ships: Liv Chenka & Tula Chenka
Ander Poul & Lish Toos
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

~~

The Doctor Who episode this is a spin-off of, The Robots of Death, is one of my favourites (It’s basically And Then There Were None with added killer robots so yeah.). The setting of Kaldor City fascinates me, and I’m slowly working my way through all the additional bits of media featuring it (most of which is contradicted by this, so don’t worry about them, although if you happen to be familiar with them then bringing in details from them would be welcome. :D). I love the setting, the worldbuilding that goes into what a civilisation reliant on robot technology would look like, the way class works, and the idea of robophobia as this utterly crippling condition in a society so reliant on robots. And I love Big Finish’s take on it, the fast-paced stories that all turn around some aspect of AI or robot technology, with the overarching story developing about the Sons of Kaldor. I also really like that in this series Kaldor is in a state of shift, changing rapidly from an insular low-tech society to something very different.

For this, I’d love anything exploring the world of Kaldor City, how it’s changed over the years, Toos and Poul continuing to cope with

I was already familiar with Toos and Poul from TRoD, and I was so freaking happy to meet them again in this, especially as they got a murder mystery to solve. I love them both, how they’ve both dealt so differently with the events of that episode, Toos being a badass and Poul’s recovery from his breakdown and his ongoing loathing of robots. (And ftr, I completely ship Toos/Leela, so if you’d be interested in writing that, then please do).

I haven’t listened to anything else featuring Liv, and aside from Robophobia which I will almost certainly pick up at some point, I haven’t any plans to listen to the other BF audios she’s in any time soon, so please don’t worry about spoilers or about following their canon. I love her in this though, and her relationship with her sister and how very true to life it is, with the slight edge of conflict between them even though they do clearly love each other despite their differences. More sister-interaction, or casefic, or just background in how Kaldor is changing.

Art Likes

I absolutely loved the styling in the Robots of Death – the look of the robots, especially, and the clothes, so luxurious and elaborate and completely impractical. I’d be here for clothing porn, and more generally, I’d really like to see the visuals of Kaldor City explored.

Optional Prompts

  • Look, if at any point you’re not sure what to write for this fandom, And Then There Were None with killer robots will always be welcome.
  • Some idiot has attempted to replicate the conditions that led to the existence of the robotics genius and murderous lunatic Taren Capel. Predictably it goes about as well as can be expected.
  • Always here for casefic, for either pairing.
  • Anything worldbuilding-centric which explores Kaldor City or Kaldor as a whole, for either pairing

Requested Ships: Edward Pierce (Call of Cthulhu (Video Game 2018))/Jonathan Reid (Vampyr)
Geoffrey McCullum (Vampyr)/Teague Martin (Dishonored)
Fifth Doctor (Doctor Who 1963) & Jenny the Doctor's Daughter (Doctor Who 2005)

Edward Pierce (Call of Cthulhu (Video Game 2018))/Jonathan Reid (Vampyr)

Coming clean, I haven’t yet finished my playthrough of Call of Cthulhu due to it giving me pretty horrendous motion sickness. What I could play, I found pretty creepy, I liked the concept, and I found Edward Pierce extremely appealing as a main character even though I had some issues with the game itself. The opportunity to ship Edward and Jonathan (and the thought of Jonathan going up against Lovecraftian monstrosities) is too good to pass up. They have a hell of a lot in common, aside from, um, the obvious. They both went through WW1, both found themselves thrust completely unexpectedly into supernatural events, and both had cause to question their sanity...

The time line fits… Jonathan leaving England only to find himself mired in Lovecraftian horrors, or vice versa: Edward discovers that the Lovecraftian horrors are only the start and there’s far, far more out there than he realised.

Art Likes

Horror: I’d love to see something which captures some of the atmosphere of either game, whether openly horror or an image which at first looks normal but then gradually you start to see all the wrong little details creeping in. Also open to explicit art for this pairing. Or play with Edward and Jonathan’s mysterious resemblance and do something with their reflections, perhaps one on either side of the mirror with their respective monsters flocking all around them like smoke.

Geoffrey McCullum (Vampyr)/Teague Martin (Dishonored)

A bit of an oddball ship and I have no idea how it would work or how to bring it about, whether as a fusion or a portal crossover, but damn, would I love to see these two together. They’re similar in a lot of ways, both members of a militia-esque organisation which hunts ‘evil’ - heretics in Martin’s case, vampires in McCullum’s, both emigrants from Ireland (or an Ireland-equivalent) who’ve wound up in London (or London-equivalent), and it’s not been that long since the Morley Insurrection… But as fascinating as their similarities are, they’re also very different men. Idk, I’m just curious to see how they’d rub along together – how easily would Martin adapt and fit in if he was transported to McCullum’s world, and what chaos would McCullum cause if he was transported to Martin’s? What would the Guard of Priwen look like in a fusion of the two universes?

Art Likes

I love the look of both games, and would love to see them brought together somehow, however you choose to do that. I've spoken about the visuals of Dunwall in my Dishonored request, so that follows through here. Maybe playing with the Void and the idea of two universes overlaid that we saw in Death to the Outsider? London, but with elements of Dunwall advertising on the walls? Play with light and shadow -- the two men hunting side by side on the streets? And I'd be open to explicit art for this pairing.

Fifth Doctor (Doctor Who 1963) & Jenny the Doctor's Daughter (Doctor Who 2005)
Jenny the Doctor's Daughter (Doctor Who 2005)/Vislor Turlough (Doctor Who 1963)
Requested Medium: Art and Fic

I’ve listened to the Big Finish series about Jenny, so feel free to draw in elements from that if you happen to be familiar with it.

I adore the Fifth Doctor, and of all the non-David Tennant Doctors I’d love Jenny to run into Five most of all. :D Idk, the thought of the Doctor’s Daughter running into a Doctor played by Georgia Tennant’s actual father just really freaking appeals… probably because I’m a sentimental goof at heart. :D I’m also fascinated by the concept of Jenny as a character in herself – genetically she’s a Time Lord, but that presumably doesn’t make her a Time Lord. How does that work, especially if she’s in a part of the time line when Gallifrey hasn’t been destroyed? How would the Doctor react to that? Would he be tempted to palm her off on the Time Lords? How would she react to the concept of regeneration and to the TARDIS (which I don’t think she ever saw in the episode she was in, although I can’t recall for certain) and to seeing a bit more of what the Doctor does?

Aaaaand then there’s Turlough who is fast becoming one of my favourite companions. He’s so much fun to watch (and in the case of the BF audios to listen to), mainly because he’s a magnificent little shit with one of the best intros to being a companion that I’ve ever seen. It’s fun having an amoral little shitbag who looks like an extra from Grange Hill wandering around the TARDIS, and the thought of him getting together with Jenny, possibly while the Doctor struggles to come to grips with the concept of becoming a father again (and now that I think of it, presumably Jenny has other family – how would she deal with the news she has at least a niece somewhere in the universe?), and that she’s with Turlough of all people is… well, it’s pretty damn delightful.

Art Likes

The Doctor’s clothes. Apparently I… have a very particular weakness for Peter Davison in interwar period costume, so, um, that, and while I’m not quite sure what period his cricketing whites are supposed to be from, I’m assuming they count. Turlough’s clothes appeal too. And Jenny takes after Ten in a lot of ways (I don’t want to use the word ‘perky’ but…). I think it’d be an interesting contrast, Jenny alongside a Doctor who often seems so serious, and those moments when he smiles...

Thanks for reading!
